May 7                               Annual Meeting and Resolutions

June 4                             A Day in the Life of a Toastmaster – Mr Cyril Baldwin

                                         The Tolliday Cup competition –
                             (an arrangement of fresh flowers - Max. Height 18”)

July 2                                Dorothy in the Workhouse – Judith Kinneson Burke

August 6                           Annual Social Evening – in the Village Hall

September 8                   The  Medium of Radio & The BBC – Andy Garland

There are regular competitions, plus in June a flower arranging competition for the Tolliday cup and in November the Rosebowl Craft competition.  As well as monthly meetings there are frequent craft classes and numerous social events, and also the opportunity to join the many events and activities organised by the Kent West Kent Federation.  Our WI also likes to support local activities in Pembury and adjoining villages.  For further village information please contact http://www.pembury.org.uk  

The membership magazine WI Life is circulated to all Members and keeps them up to date with national activities and other Institutes.
