On Our Past Our Future Is Built  - An Afternoon with Anne Stamper.

To celebrate the year of the Archivist, Anne Stamper the NFWI Hon. Archivist is coming to Crockham Hill Village Hall, near Edenbridge, on Wed. 23 May at 2pm.
During the afternoon, a WI tea will be served.

Her talk is entitled 'On our past our future is built'.  This will cover the NFWI archives, their importance and how they are being used.
Most of our history is written in the local archives of the Federations and WIs.

There will then be an activity session of  'over to you'.  A questionnaire will be provided by Anne which will ask about what archive your WI has, where it is kept, how you are looking after it and how you might use it.  This will be followed by a question and answer discussion.

If you would like to bring some WI 'treasures' for display they will need to have a label with your WI name, what the treasure is and what date.

Ann France our West Kent Archivist will tell you about our Federation's archives.

After tea there will be time to look at the displays.
Tickets cost £8.00 to include tea. This event is for MEMBERS ONLY and the booking form can be found on the back of February's WKN.
